Pre-publication review
New complaints and rule-change reports remain in review first. The review checks personal data, private documents, targeting, unsupported criminal allegations, misleading titles and relevance to the record.
Statuses and history
Records can be tracked through pending, reviewing, open, resolved, verified, rejected or removed states. A resolved problem is not deleted; the update is added to the timeline.
Firm responses and verification
A response submitted on behalf of a firm is not presented as a verified firm response until the account’s authority is checked. Adding a response does not invalidate the user’s statement.
Corrections and removal
Record owners may request corrections for incomplete or inaccurate information. Privacy, rights or official-order requests follow the content removal process.
Independence from commercial content
Paid visibility, advertising or referral programmes must be clearly labelled. Commercial relationships must not affect ranking, review decisions or resolution status.
